Ron Lucas

Ron Lucas has written scripts for the original productions Gospitality, Memories of Mahalia, The Nat “King” Cole Songbook, and McDonald’s Gospelfest 2000, which traces the history of gospel music from its origins to the present day.  He also writes jingles for the DuPont Corporation.  He recently returned from Stuttgart, where he performed the role of John in Miss Saigon.  Mr. Lucas has appeared in regional productions of Ain’t Misbehavin’, Five Guys Named Moe, The Elegance of Ellington, Hair, Godspell, and Jesus Christ, Superstar, in which he starred as Judas.  He tours with the vocal quartet All Four Fun, and narrates and sings on educational tapes for schoolchildren.
